Sassitude

I just loved making this layout using FPD About a Girl range and taught it a week ago. We used papers, rub-ons and flocked transparency to create a very girly teen page with lots of tips about using a co-ordinated range and hidden journaling.

The great thing about these types of layouts is that we always get another page out of the kit...

and for those that do cards, there is usually enough for one or two of those as well.

Home Tweet Home

corny I know - but these little chipboard bird houses are too cute. I got the kit from Scrapware and while I have kept them very under embellished (for now), I really wanted to try some Tattered Angels products out on them and am very happy with the end result.

I sprayed one house with Cornflower Chalkboard, one with Big Apple Glimmer Glam and one with  Cowboy Glimmer Glaze. I used the same colours on each roof and mixed them up. I finished off with some old Basic Grey white rub-ons.

Still more

Silly me ...still another week in the Aussie Scrap Source Challenge, so here are my entries for week 4:

Can you tell I'm in a bit of a Christmas mood of late- this card is made with Echo Park Home for the Holidays paper and Hero Arts stamp.

This is the single page layout using Crate Paper embellishments and papers and highlighting a new mate of mine: "Bro".

The photo of the double page layout does not quite show the hidden extras that I used: I misted the Pink Paislee Parisian Anthology paper with Turquoise and Peacock and painted the cream card stock photo mat with Big Apple Glimmer Glam so it has a gold fleck through the red. The embossed butterfly was misted with Iridescent gold.

It is a very simple but sparkly Christmas card, using Basic Grey paper, Fiskars border punch, kindy glitz and Pink Paislee stamp.

This single page layout uses Basic Grey papers & embellishments along with my Fav Martha Stewart punch set.

and the double page uses Crate Paper papers, Fiskars border punch  and Pink Paislee alpha.

I hope you have enjoyed the entries and remember if you like these, then go onto http://aussiescrapsource.typepad.com/ to vote for them. (They will be up on the site tomorrow.)
