Well, sort of... The latest in the never ending saga that is my life is that (yay) Thyrogen is available again, but oh the hoops and the drama surrounding the getting of it. I won't go into the boring details of last week's drama after the visit to the endo, let's just say my therapist is a gem and doesn't mind driveway consultations at 7pm after panicky phone messages.
I was told to be at the endo's this morning at 8.30 to pick up the script (after phoning the rare pharmacy that had it and holding it for me)...she got in at 9 (obviously a miscommunication). I then raced (at a snail's pace) through the late peak hour traffic to North Shore Private, found a parking spot and then had to wait 1/2 hr for it to be filled. Pay for parking, and zoom back home to put it in the fridge and then off to work....only took 3 hours all up, but I have it now and an appointment with Nuclear Medicine at RNS next Wed for the pre-ablation consult and hopefully get a date to have it done, then make appointments for my Thyrogen injections prior. It's all a go here, thank goodness I have a very understanding boss.
I am re-reading this and it does sound a bit garbled, but this has been the pace this week and fighting off a cold - I think it has won and I am off to bed.

A card a day returns soon, but for the next few days I am playing catchup to get back on track. So prepare to be overloaded with cards, cards and more cards, which I have been making in the last couple of days of my recuperation. The mojo comes and goes (along with the energy), but it has been a good way of keeping busy and distracting me from thinking too much. Enjoy!

Technically I cheated and made this in March, but I hope it counts that I posted it in April. I am also the worst mother in the world, for taking these photos of my daughter coming out of the surf with blue bottle tentacles wrapped around her leg and in great distress (which I was unaware of at the time). To my credit however there are no photo's of the actual tentacles as I threw the camera into my pocket once I realised what was going on and got her first aid.

Well I am back home from hospital and on the mend and as you may have noticed I am making changes to the look of my blog. In the past I have been too busy to tart it up, but confined to home and bored out of my mind, I have found the time to play on the computer.
I must admit that it will be a slow process as I feel ok until I go to do something, then... whammy. I played with my stamps the other day for about an hour and then had to go have a lie down, so from now on slowly slowly.
So don't be expecting loads of creativity from me just yet, but I am gaining loads of inspiration from my web surfing.....so stay tuned.
